Working without a domain name
When setting up a new site the domain name is often not ready, or not pointed to the server. In these cases you can work without a domain name at all. Instead, the system treats the site a folder off of the parent site's URL. When the domain name is known, it can be added in, and the site can be accessed via either URL.
