The neatComponents system inherently supports the classroom environment (both on-campus and distance-based). For example, where the tutor needs to provide defined tasks, they can be provided in the form of template sites, which the students then have to extend or complete. Access can be restricted by IP address (to the campus network) or require username and password authentication.

Long-term student support

The rate-limited Free license is designed to allow students to have their own license for free, and to be able to complete projects, both for their education, and as a foothold in the commercial world.

Students can export sites created in class on the school's server and install them on their own instance.

Low volume use is free. Only when usage gets above a threshold do students need to pay for their license.

School-wide Licensing

Only one Enterprise 'Cloud Maker' license is normally required for each establishment. 

Educational Discount

Schools: K-12 (USA),  Reception to Year 13 (UK), or local equivalent, receive a 50% discount on Enterprise licenses.
