This action purges the site-wide query cache. This is useful to ensure that users see the latest data after changes have been made.

There are no settings (or properties dialog) associated with this action.

This is a site-wide action, so for large sites alternative caching approaches may be preferable.

This action is identical to using the Layout Manager / Globe Node / Properties / Cache tab, 'Clear' button. It is provided as an alternative to allow it to be executed automatically after particular data changes, or to allow administrative users to trigger it without giving them permission to use the Layout Manager.
